Friability Tester is used for testing the friability or abrasion of the tablets. It is available for holding 1 or 2 drums. The drum is made from Plexiglas and separates into two parts – body and cover. It is easy to remove the cover for filling or discharging the samples and for cleaning the drum from inside.
The tester is reliable and easy to operate with a microprocessor control. The rotation speed is set at 25 RPM. Either the testing time or number of rotation can be selected by using the keypads. All the data will be clearly indicated on the LED display, and will automatically count down through the test-run. The friability can be easily determined by weighing the samples before and after the testing.
